About This Project

Kratom Vote: Know Where Your Officials Stand

Kratom Vote is an advocacy tool built by Infused Partners — dedicated to protecting consumer access to kratom and 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) products across the United States.

More than 20 million Americans use kratom regularly for pain management, opioid recovery, anxiety relief, and general wellness. Yet access to this traditional botanical medicine remains under constant legislative threat, often driven by misinformation rather than science.

This tool makes it simple for advocates, patients, and voters to identify where their elected representatives stand on kratom and 7-OH — and to hold them accountable at the ballot box.

What the Tags Mean

KRATOM BAN
This official has voted for, sponsored, or publicly supported legislation to ban or restrict kratom. Based on verifiable public records.
7-OH BAN
This official has voted for, sponsored, or publicly supported legislation specifically targeting 7-hydroxymitragynine products.
KRATOM USE
This official has voted against bans, signed protective legislation, or made a public statement supporting adult access to kratom products.
7-OH USE
This official has voted against bans, signed protective legislation, or made a public statement supporting adult access to 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) products.

Officials with no recorded public position on kratom or 7-OH are shown without tags. This is not an endorsement or criticism — it simply means a public record has not yet been identified.

Data Sources & Accuracy

Tag assignments are based on publicly available legislative votes, floor statements, bill sponsorships, press releases, and committee testimony. We link to primary sources wherever possible.

We actively encourage officials to self-report and correct their records using our Official Update Portal. All self-submitted updates are verified against government email domains and cross-referenced with public records before being published.

This Is an MVP

This is the first public version of Kratom Vote. Right now, tags are manually curated for key officials in states with active kratom legislation. In upcoming versions, we will be mining public voting records, bill sponsorships, and committee votes across all 50 states to automatically assign and update tags for every official listed.
